The creeping flames on the brim of the hat represent the dark urges or ‘demons’ constantly trying to pull us to embrace our darker side. The two skulls on either sides of the hat are a play on the ‘comedy and tragedy’ masks of theatre, and also represent the angel on your shoulder and the devil on the other. It’s up to you, and you only, to figure out which side you choose to give in to.
