AYISYEN Charity Tote Bag
AYISYEN Charity Tote Bag
This recycled canvas tote bag is all about displaying Haitian pride. Carry a few light items inside - you have to make space for yourself to let the world know you’re in your bag.
Intended for light use, bag size is 16 in x 15 in x 6 in.
Alexandre Pétion, a warm-hearted founding father of Haiti, as well as a strip of vibrant traditional Haitian art adorn this black tote bag. And of course, the phrase “PASKE’M SE AYISYEN” or “because I’m Haitian” let’s those admiring this stylish bag know exactly why you should be proud of the year 1804.
With each purchase of this tote bag, 1/4 of all net proceeds will go directly to raising money for the canal being built in Haiti, to help the country become even more economically independent. We know that sometimes when donating to charity, it’s easy and understandable to be skeptical about where your money truly is going. That’s why we have partnered with the non-profit organization, Rebirth, Inc of Salisbury, MD; who are truly dedicated to serving the immigrant community, but with a special focus on the Haitian populus in the Eastern Shore and beyond. Below is a link to their Facebook page for more information, as well as a separate donation link for the canal project in Haiti. Contact information is also included in these links as well, in case you should have further inquiries.

The goal of these bags is to uplift Haitians to show ancestral pride, as well as to also uplift the people back in Haiti by donating to a cause to further economic independence with the construction of the canal. Even if you can’t donate anything today, spreading awareness on the issues in Haiti can greatly help bring more attention and are greatly appreciated.
